When I grow up ... 👨🚀
I really did love my parents .... I was just too dumb to show it 😕
I think we all feel that about our parents unfortunately. But I think it’s important to recognize that, as you said, there is always something to be learned from every experience, good or bad. I love your positive attitude of Je ne regrette rien!
What did you say in French at the end?
That was the title of a famous Edith Piaf song
Called?
Je ne regrette rien. (I regret nothing).
here it is on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/track/3dkIE8P7hvl3tHl9KSb6dA?si=UFZEaq9oQOW70sG9IG6rzw
Funny (funny sad, not funny haha) how, as we age, many of us start to “get” our parents and so much wish we’d shown it more or done things differently ... but by then it’s too late. I feel the same way.
Since there was so much interest, I thought I'd add a YouTube video of Edith Piaf in Paris 😕
Wow—I didn’t know that about you. Interesting!
