In all seriousness and looking back, this turned out to be a very important time in my life. For someone who had had no exposure to religion and whose mother had been raised in a religious household, I am extremely grateful for the opportunity I had and for the love and pride my parents showed when I accomplished this through some extremely hard work.
I want to see more pictures of you as a kid!
Unfortunately my brother took all the pictures my mother had when she passed away. And as far as I know, he’s in pretty bad shape right now. But I’ll keep that in mind and see what I can do.
